Breaking Defense contributor James Kitfield recently visited Adm. Davidson, commander of Indo-Pacific Command, in his Camp Smith, Hawaii office, with its expansive views of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu in the distance. Edited excerpts from their interview follow.

Let’s not make a mistake, a Chinese government psychiatrist hospital is a recipe for physical and mental conditioning and psychiatric drugs administered that is not short on torture.

Tacoma will be approve building a terrorist station to put our best minds under stress and torture that no human should have to endure.  It is completely impossible to imagine the horror and terror that will occur and genius or cunning applied to techniques in torture and conditioning, all under a seal of medical- institution silence.

Is it enough that human creature observes, learns, and adapts applied technology to assure that outcome is satisfactory? Even in a mesh of human neurons with AI technology?

My record show here that for six years now I’ve been promoting a future for the human species and explaining that homo sapiens sapiens can indeed evolve–less social–more biological via AI quantum Tool with Human Command and apposable thumbs.

Wants me to lose a foot as a statement that disabilities above the neck don’t count.

In fact, disability status is equal in rights above the neck as well as below. Otherwise you’d be saying a foot is more superior than a person’s brain (given equal status by Social Security and Department of Veteran Affairs, involving my disability from which I worked 4 full years in the Air Force, and 10 years civilian.

I thought of you when I read this quote from “Healing Justice: Stories of Wisdom and Love (How to Die Smiling Book 3)” by Jarem Sawatsky –

“There is a brokenness Out of which comes the unbroken, A shatteredness out of which blooms the unshatterable. There is a sorrow Beyond all grief which leads to joy And a fragility Out of which depth emerges strength. There is a hollow space Too vast for words Through which we pass with each loss, Out of whose darkness we are sanctified into being. There is a cry deeper than all sound Whose serrated edges cut the heart As we break open To the place inside which is unbreakable And whole, while learning to sing (Rashani 1991) What if justice is about becoming whole while learning to sing? How do we nurture the conditions where shatteredness might bloom into the unshatterable? What imagination and support are necessary to sustain that journey into darkness, where we are sanctified into being? How do we cultivate the ability to hear the cry that is deeper than all sound and to see the unbreakable in the broken? What if justice is meant to lead to joy, to emerging strengthened out of fragility, to finding our place in the song? What if many of our basic assumptions about justice are misguided?
